Burton Bob’s is our little slice of tiki paradise we’d love to share with our friends and family.
The name is a little nod to Tiki Bob’s, the legendary San Francisco tiki bar that opened in 1955. Giving us one of tiki culture’s most recognizable smiling faces; Tiki Bob. Burton Bob’s carries a little of that spirit into our own basement hideaway.
NO BEACH REQUIRED.
Burton Bob’s is less about pretending we’re somewhere tropical and more about creating our own take on a tiki bar. Low lights, good music, plenty of rum and a room full of tiki treasures set the mood.
WHATEVER THE MOOD CALLS FOR
Whatever it looks like outside, Burton Bob’s sets its own atmosphere. With lighting scenes throughout the basement, Burton Bob’s can transform to any mood. And sometimes, the room has a few surprises of its own.
MADE BEHIND THE BAR
The drinks are handmade, from tiki classics to whatever we feel like mixing that night. We take the drinks seriously and are always looking to try new recipes.
TIKI TUESDAYS
Because not every good night has to be a weekend. We try to host a Tiki Tuesday a couple times every month. Good drinks, good music, friends and an excuse to make an ordinary night a little more fun.
THE DRINKS.
Classics, favorites and a few that have earned their own place at Burton Bob's.
MAI TAI
Aged Jamaican Rum, Demerara Rum, Orange Curaçao, Orgeat, Fresh Lime. The original tiki icon. Bold, nutty and citrus-forward.
Jungle BIRD
Our twist on a friend’s favorite. Black Strap Rum, Aperol, Pineapple, Fresh Lime, Demerara. Rich black strap rum brings deep molasses character to this dark, tropical and bittersweet classic.
NAVY Grog
Jamaican & Demerara Rums, Grapefruit, Fresh Lime, Honey, Allspice, Soda. Bold, citrusy and spiced with plenty of backbone. Karolina has been digging this one lately.
PAINKILLER
Aged Jamaican Rum, Pineapple, Orange, Coconut Cream, Fresh Nutmeg. Rich, creamy and dangerously easygoing. Sometimes the name really does say it all.
PUNCH
Aged Rum, Jamaican Rum, Orange, Fresh Lime, Passion Fruit, Honey. Big, layered and unapologetically tiki. Fruity, sweet and packed with personality.
SATURN
Bright, tropical and seriously underrated. Gin, passion fruit and warm spice make this one unexpectedly easy to love. A tiki classic that deserves way more attention than it gets.
Z O M B I E
Two takes on one of tiki’s most infamous classics. Rum-heavy, citrusy, spiced and built with a little danger. Pick your poison.
